Polyurethane (PU) flooring is the preferred choice for food processing, pharmaceutical, and cold storage facilities — offering thermal shock resistance, hygiene compliance, and exceptional durability.
PU flooring is a cementitious polyurethane system that combines the toughness of concrete with the chemical resistance of polyurethane. Unlike epoxy, PU floors can withstand thermal shock from steam cleaning, hot water wash-downs, and extreme temperature fluctuations.
The system is HACCP and FDA compliant, making it the standard choice for food and beverage processing plants, dairy facilities, breweries, meat processing units, and pharmaceutical manufacturing areas.

Mechanical preparation by diamond grinding or shot blasting to achieve minimum 1.5 MPa pull-off strength.
Relative humidity and moisture tests to ensure the substrate is within acceptable limits.
PU primer is applied to seal the substrate and promote adhesion.
Cementitious PU screed is applied by trowel to the specified thickness (6–9mm typical).
PU top seal is applied for enhanced chemical resistance and easy cleaning.
System cures in 24 hours for foot traffic, 7 days for full chemical resistance.
